Mill Community Ministries' new hub in the Village of West Greenville is open!
Mill Community Ministries launched the first phase in the Village of West Greenville at the intersection of Pendleton St. and Lois Ave in January 2016 with the Mill Village Market. The Mill Village Market is the first brick & mortar location for Mill Village Farms featuring locally grown produce, regionally sourced foods, and a community gathering space.
Phase two of the MCM Hub opened in April 2016 and includes a bike co-op by The Village Wrench that serves as a home for our community bicycle maintenance, repair, and earning program for youth and adults. Additionally, the second phase includes Textile Hall, a coworking space for businesses. Textile Hall also houses the business entrepreneur academy by Nasha Lending. Textile Hall is a community-oriented space for entrepreneurs, community members, and business owners.
Mill Community Ministries & Mill Village Farms’ Executive Director, Dan Weidenbenner stated, “We are thrilled to have a larger presence in the community through the creation of the Mill Village Market, Village Wrench Bike Co-Op, and Textile Hall. The hub will be an inviting and energetic place for both surrounding community members and visitors to the Village alike.”
