George moved to Greenville in the fall of 2025. Growing up in both Bismarck, ND and Fayetteville, NC, George finds Greenville to be the perfect "Goldilocks" city for him and his family. In the spring of 2025, he received his M.Div. from Moody Theological Seminary in Chicago and previously completed his undergraduate education at Duke University. 

Prior to joining the MVM team, George worked in education; serving as a teacher and tutor to middle school students on Chicago's South Side and working in elementary special education. He also has experience in local church ministry. George's commitment to serving people is rooted in his faith in Christ and a desire to follow in the footsteps of the "Son of Man who came not to be served, but to serve and give His life as a ransom for many".

George enjoys spending time with his wife Kiamya and sons Georgie and Theo. In his free time, he loves reading, hiking, and playing sports. He's also a theology nerd who loves studying Scripture, apologetics, and church history.
