WORK AT MILL VILLAGE!

Students apprentice at our urban farm or bike shop
practicing job skills, hard work, and leadership.

Each summer, we hire eight youth apprentices who participated in one of our youth classes the previous school year.

These apprentices gain valuable first-time job training, work experience, and a paycheck!

My biggest takeaway from working at Village Wrench is the importance of being engaged in the community. In the shop, I learned to work with people from lots of different backgrounds and to value their character above all.
— Gavin Rodgers, 2021 Apprentice
Working at Mill Village Farms was hard sometimes, and there were definitely hot, sweaty days. But it was also a lot of fun and gave me opportunities to solve problems. I learned skills I can apply for the rest of my life.
