Jevertus Burnett | Program Director,
Village Launch
Jevertus “JB” Burnett is a strategic leader, entrepreneur, coach, and community advocate with a passion for helping people turn ideas into sustainable businesses and businesses into vehicles for lasting economic impact.
As Director of Village Launch, JB leads initiatives designed to equip entrepreneurs with the education, relationships, resources, and access to capital needed to build and grow thriving businesses. His work spans entrepreneur education, alumni development, strategic partnerships, capital access, and the development of an entrepreneurial ecosystem where founders can move from simply starting businesses to building sustainable enterprises.
JB brings a unique blend of experience in entrepreneurship, financial services, leadership development, business coaching, and organizational strategy. Throughout his career, he has worked with entrepreneurs, financial professionals, community organizations, and business leaders across the country—helping individuals clarify their vision, strengthen their strategy, and turn potential into measurable results.
He served as a financial services professional and associate partner for Reveal Wealth where his work centered on helping individuals, families, and business owners build stronger financial futures through wealth accumulation, protection, and legacy planning. His experience as an entrepreneur gives him a firsthand understanding of both the opportunities and challenges faced by the founders Village Launch serves.
JB earned a Master of Science in Innovation and Leadership from Furman University and is a proud graduate of Savannah State University. His leadership philosophy is rooted in the belief that meaningful economic development begins with people, and that when entrepreneurs are given the right tools, relationships, capital, and opportunities, they can transform not only their own lives but their families and entire communities.
At the heart of JB’s work is a simple commitment: help people see what is possible, equip them to pursue it, and create pathways that allow them to thrive.
