Melissa is a dedicated and results-driven project manager with over a decade of experience in planning and executing successful events and implementing effective marketing strategies. With a Master of Arts in English from Arizona State University, Melissa brings a unique blend of creative thinking and strategic acumen to her roles.

Prior to her current position, Melissa served as a Program Coordinator and Executive Assistant at the Black Teacher Collaborative, where she led program operations, facilitated program development, and orchestrated a myriad of successful workshops and events. Her adeptness at managing budgets, leading cross-functional teams, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders contributed significantly to the organization's growth and impact.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Melissa is actively involved in community engagement and serves as a Board Member at the Poe Mill Achievement Center (PMAC), contributing her expertise to the events and marketing committee.
